Founded in 2002, as the first B-School in North Malabar region, Institute of Technology Mayyil (ITM) has a timeline of academic excellence which continues its journey of innovative practices in management education. The college situates in lush green campus in Mayyil Kannur district. Kannur-THE LAND OF LOOMS AND LORES- is a beautiful city on the northern side of Kerala state. The district is famed for its vibrant culture and tradition and has gained worldwide attention with its vast array of heritage destinations and folklore. Kannur is also bestknown for its sandy beaches. The Muzhapilangad beach being Asia’s longest drive-in beach.
Practice of management is becoming more and more complex due to the globalized environment and advent of fast changing technology. This necessitates innovation and upgradation in management education to meet the emerging global challenges in the business world. The conference proposes to have deliberations in minimizing the gap between management education and practices. The conference is expected to come out with suggestions for enhancing the quality of management education that will match the industry needs. There will be a special technical session on “TIPS FOR PUBLISHING JOURNAL PAPER” by Dr. Md. MAMUN HABIB, BRAC University, Bangladesh.
We invite academicians, research scholars, corporates and practitioners to submit research papers linked to the theme of the conference, “BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN MANAGEMENT EDUCATION & PRACTICE.” Research papers are invited in any of the following sub themes under the main theme.
The paper submission should not exceed 3500 –5000 words including abstract. The paper should be written in English, Times New Roman 12 point font, should be double-spaced, with 2.5 cm margin on all four sides. Abstract should be limited to a maximum of 350 words with not more than 6 keywords. The cover page should include the title of the paper as well as name and affiliation, email address and telephone number of each author. References should be in APA format. Acceptance of the paper implies that at least one of the authors will attend the conference and present the paper. In exceptional cases in-absentia presentation will also be facilitated. Selected papers will be published in peer-reviewed journal.
